Artwork Guidelines

ATTENTION

Please read these guidelines carefully before submitting artwork. Failure to do so will result in production delays.

 

NO ART, NO START

All quoted lead times begin upon receiving your artwork. Orders will not be processed until we receive all artwork according to the specifications below.

 

PREPARE ART FOR SUBMISSION

Acceptable Formats: Adobe Illustrator (.AI or .EPS), Photoshop .EPS (clipping paths preferred), or TIFF. JPEGs are accepted, but only if they are set to ³highest quality². Clipping paths in JPEGs are preferred. Unacceptable Formats: Acrobat PDF, Pagemaker, Corel Draw, Macromedia Freehand, Microsoft Word, .GIF, .BMP, .PNG, .ART. E-Mail: Send attached images as compressed ZIP archives (no RAR / ACE) to art@bagmasters.com, with the subject header: ³ATTN: Artwork for (your salesperson)².

 

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Black & White: Artwork must be camera-ready (no grayscale). Absolutely NO negatives. Please send right-side-up, positives only. Color Artwork: Please use the profile ³U.S. Web coated (SWOP)² for all CMYK proofs. Use ³sRGB² for RGB artwork. Vector Art: Please convert all text to outlines. If the image contains more than one spot color, send us a color-separated copy. Please include a trapping of 1-point (0.0138²), or set attributes to ³overprint fills and strokes².

ADDITIONAL FEES

Out-of Spec Artwork: Artwork that does not meet these guidelines will be subject to alteration fees of $45 per hour, minimum $25. Custom Artwork: Bagmasters offers the ability to create custom artwork for your company. Rate for designing artwork is $45 per hour, with a minimum charge of $25.
